Mixing & Mastering
The final touches make all the difference. At Lit Vibes Studio, we believe that professional mixing and mastering are the essential final steps that transform a collection of recordings into a polished, studio quality, powerful, and unforgettable track. It's where your creative vision is brought to life and prepared for the world to hear.
Mixing is the process of sculpting and blending your individual audio tracks into one cohesive and balanced song. Our engineers meticulously work on every element, from vocals and drums to instrumentation and effects, to ensure each sound has its own space and clarity. We focus on:
Balancing Levels: Ensuring every instrument and vocal track sits perfectly in the mix.
Creating Dimension: Using effects like reverb and delay to give your song depth and space.
Sonic Clarity: Applying equalization (EQ) and compression to refine the sound and make it professional.
The goal is to create a track that sounds dynamic, impactful, and perfectly translates to any listening device—from headphones and car stereos to club speakers.
What's Mixing & Mastering?
Mastering is the last creative step in the audio production process. It is the crucial final polish that gives your song a competitive edge. Our mastering service ensures:
Optimal Loudness: Making your song as loud as commercial releases without sacrificing dynamics or clarity.
Sonic Cohesion: Giving your track a consistent sound and feel, so it sounds great on all platforms.
Flawless Delivery: Preparing your song for distribution on all major streaming services and digital stores, meeting their specific technical requirements.
Mastering ensures your music sounds its best, standing strong against the quality of top industry releases.

How much do you charge for mixing and mastering?
$120 for a two track/vocal mix & master and $200 for a fully tracked out mix & master. What's the difference between a two track/ vocal mix and a fully tracked out mix?
A Vocal mix is mixing the vocals on top of a pre-mixed beat, typically when the artist simply has a single WAV, Mp3, or Aiff file for the instrumental. This is the option that you'd go with if you DON'T have the beat steams. A fully tracked out mix is when you have the beat stems meaning every vocal and instrument in the beat has it's own track and is all mixed together in one session by the engineer. To do fully tracked out mix you'd need the trackout/stems for the beat from the producer. A beat trackout means each instrument in the beat is separated and has their own track (i.e kick, snare, hi hats, clap, bass, keys, guitar etc). What's the free session review?
Before mixing or even accepting payment we'll do a free session review. This is where we'll review your stems/trackout and make sure everything's ready to go and up to par to be mixed. If it is, we can proceed to mixing and if not, we'll let you know exactly what needs to be fixed or done before proceeding. What area are you in?
We are in PG County, MD (DMV) but the beauty of mixing, mastering, and production is that we can work with artist all around the country and world as long as you have internet and a cell phone.Does it matter what DAW or software I use?
No. Any software you record in will work as long you recorded with an actual studio/condenser microphone. We would not recommend you to spend money mixing songs recorded with the mic on a pair of headphones. What forms of payment do you accept?
Zelle, Cash App, Paypal, and also credit card.
